What defines us is the family – and the passion with which we
work on our vision every day. With courage, determination and a strong sense of solidarity, we laid the foundation for Scerox and made our company what it is today:
an innovative, regionally rooted company that combines the latest precision technologies with humanity.
Our story began with a firm belief in an idea in Küps, when Christian Stumpf, at the age of just 20, dared to take the step into self-employment – with an EDM machine, a rented production area of 300 square meters and the support of his parents and grandmother. His father Hermann Stumpf, himself a toolmaker, contributed his knowledge from the very beginning and officially joined the company in 2004. Scerox grew with each passing year. What began in Küps with wire, starting hole and sinker EDM as well as the first milling and measuring technology processes has continued to develop in recent years.
Milestones
In 2018, the move to Redwitz marked another milestone: a state-of-the-art, partially automated machine park covering 6,000 square meters, combining the latest technologies and the highest precision.
Today, in addition to all EDM processes, our portfolio also includes high-precision grinding, the innovative PECM process, as well as turning-milling and milling on Japanese high-precision machines from Yasda. We have also built our own clean room to meet even the most demanding requirements.
But despite all the technological advances, we have never lost sight of what is essential:
the people who make this success possible.
Our team is important to us and we do everything we can to create a working environment in which everyone feels comfortable and valued.
Whether through our “Bambini donation” that supports families or through free food and drinks – we know that success is only possible through cooperation.

With 120 employees, including 23 trainees, we invest not only in the present, but also in the future. We are firmly rooted in the region, support clubs and charitable
organizations and help to make our homeland even more livable.
Our journey is far from over. With passion, a spirit of innovation and a strong team, we will continue to set new standards in the future – for our customers, our region and the next generation.
